Women Pat Maceachern women s editor Sandra Nofal woman s reporter s Florence Garden Council holds meeting at museum the monthy celing of the Florence Garden club Council was held at the museum monday Al 10 . Mrs. Julian p. Price Council president presided. Mrs. A. W. Miller chairman of the Flower show school gave a re port of the plans for the school to be held Al the elks club wednesday and thursday 10 . To 12 . And 2 to 4 . Course no. 5 will be offered. Mrs. Wally Levi of Radford va., will instruct the classes in horticulture and landscaping on wednesday. Mrs. Ira j. Varnedoe of Jacksonville Fla. Will teach Flower arrange ments featuring table decorations thursday. Mrs. Price stated a group of Flower show judges from several cities in South Carolina will take the refresher course along with the members of Florence Garden clubs. The examinations. Will be held Friday. Eight arrangements will be Dis played for Point scoring. These Are being made by members of the clubs. Mrs. Price thanked mrs. Mar Ion Barnes chairman of the Flower show recently held at the fair and her co chairman mrs. Ats Brunson mrs. Dick Dusinbury publicity chairman and mrs. Pat Maceachern of the Florence morning news and All Garden clubs for the Success of the show. She stated that there had been 286 horticulture entries 111 arrange ments and 23 Junior entries.
