Bollard groundbreaking first presbyterians set sunday ceremony groundbreaking ceremonies will be held sunday at 8 p. M. At Florence first presbyterian Church in the erection of a Sanctuary. P. W. Mclnnis chairman of the building committee preside Over Brief services during which first dirt will be lifted from the foundation of the edifice. On dec. 18, members of the Church met and allowed the bid to Lyn Brabham construction co., a Florence firm and the construction was set to begin at an Early Date. Membership voted for the com Mittee to proceed immediately Vith the erection and furnishing of the Church Sanctuary. A feature of the building will be a tall Steeple believed to be the tallest in the pee Dee area and the colonial style exterior. Seating 700 people the new Sanctuary will Complete the building program begun z few years ago when the Church moved from its downtown location on East Evans to a nine acre plat on Park ave at Cherokee re. Upon completion the building facilities will be valued at approximately Myrtle Beach Church awards contract Myrtle Beach dec. 27 a contract for construction of a new educational building for the first Baptist Church Here has been to the George.
