J 5-a escaped gunman seeped in crime added to Fri s most wanted list Daniel Abram Everhart has been added to the Fri s list of ten most wanted Ever Hart 30, is being sought for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution having been identified by police officers at Akron Ohio As having participated in three armed robberies and two burglaries. Steeped in a background of crime Daniel Abram Everhart first came to the attention of Law enforcement officials at the age of 12 for being a runaway on two occasions and a third time for Burg Lary. Eight members of his immedi ate family have been arrested for various offences. Two of his Broth ers were sentenced to Long prison terms. One brother committed Sui tide while serving a term in the Ohio Penitentiary. Early in january 1955, the police of Akron Ohio received a Sharp increase in the number of complaints from store and tavern owners concerning armed robber ies and renewed activity was noted in burglaries. The manager of one store pointed out that is Chart had held up his establishment on two different occasions. The second time he announced to the manager this is a repeat his victim was so incensed that he started to pick up an Iron bar. Was transferred to the prison farm at London Ohio and on june 13, 1954, he escaped from the Honor Camp at the prison Arm. It is known that this fugitive has been trying to interest other criminals into joining with him to go on he has even brag ged that he escaped and that the police were seeking him. He was to serve a term from three years to forty five years on three consecutive sentences for after investigation indicated thai Everhart had fled from Ohio local authorities requested the assistance of the Fiu in locating the fugitive. A authorized Federal complaint was filed before a United Stales commissioner at Alison. Charging that Everhart fled Ohio to avoiding prosecution.
