On feb. 12, 1951, he was fined s55 for similar charges by Johnsonville mayor d. L. Marsh and again on oct. 20, 1952, Magis trate K. Johnson in Darlington county found him guilty of the same charge. The fourth drunk driving charge pending against Harper arose from a feb. 27 Accident with an Auto driven by Margaret Duran Hall of it. A Florence City police records showed. A warrant was issued March j by magistrate Pete Hyman. The. Warrant is still on file in the clerk of court s office. Clerk of court Archie Odom said the warrant it still Active. It has been passed up for action by two grand juries apparently for Lack of prosecution. Odum said the warrant will be submitted to the grand jury for hearing during the october term of general sessions court. Palm. Roger Poston said he did not carry Harper into City re Corder s court because he could not definitely establish Harper wag driving. He explained it this Way sighted it a few blocks away.
