Mary Neth cookie Jigsaw 1 cup liquid Honey 3 cups sifted All purpose cup finely grated hour blanched almonds 1 tsp cinnamon a cup finely chopped 1/8 tsp ground cloves candied Orange Peel 1/8 tsp baking powder1 beaten egg White warm the liquid Honey in a Saucepan add the Al monds and Orange Peel. Then sift flour with the cloves cinnamon and baking powder. Stir into Honey mixture. Knead several times on floured Board. Heat oven to 350f. On a big cookie Sheet draw rectangle grease with shortening and Roll out dough to fit. Brush with the egg White and bake for 15 minutes. Next remove from oven Center with pattern for tree and with knife Cut around it Down through the cookie still on the Sheet. Remove pattern leaving cookie tree outline in tree Center Cut around Ginger bread boy pattern. Next with tiny cookie cutters press out variety of designs around tree. Cut cookie boy and tree into Puzzle pieces leaving each in place. Bake the Puzzle still on the cookie Sheet for 15 minutes More then with Spatula carefully slide it in one piece onto Board. Again quickly Cut Aroun Dall designs and pieces to loosen. Set aside to Cool. Jigsaw decoration sin Saucepan Over medium heat boil three Tablespoons of dark Corn syrup one minute. Using picture a guide lift out then Brush syrup glue on each cookie piece to be decorated. Then finish by pressing on decorations of your Choice Dragues flaked Coconut red hots coloured sugar Etc. Return pieces to puzzles they Are finished when they Are dry put Puzzle on foil covered cardboard backing wrap up with Saraband tie with a big Bow
