Ailey 50, was arrested about 1030 . Friday at the student residence in upper Manhattan. He also was charged with harass ment disorderly conduct and resisting arrest police said. A police spokesman said Ailey was slightly injured in a scuffle with officers a neighbor Hood patrol who held him until police arrived and arrested him. Ailey the founder the american dance theater was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was admitted for psychiatric observation.
