Special to The Indianapolis News.Eckerty, August 1.—There is a plague of black spiders in Crawford and parts of Perry counties. Several persons have beeri bitten, but no deaths have resulted, except one person who swallowed a spider while drinking from a Jug. Many of tfrese spiders are of enormous size. One was killed here which was more than three inches across. After Its death thirty-four young: spiders were discovered huddled on its back.
