It is the Best Selling Book but probably the least read studied and used. Jesus said in John 6 63 the words that i speak to you Are spirit and they Are the word of god the Bible contains powerful words containing life. Luke 1 37 Quot for with god nothing will be in other words every word of god contains within itself the Power it takes to cause itself to come to pass. There is real Power in the word of god. Gods word contains gods Power. All creation responds to gods word. Gods word is not stagnant lifeless or without purpose. Everything god has spoken has been for a reason and it has or will come to pass. His word is energized with his ability Wisdom and Power to perform it. In Jeremiah 1 12, god said Quot. I am ready to perform my we like to read Over what god has spoken and has done. Many sermons Are preached about gods word but do we look at the pertinent fact that god is now. So gods word is now. God referred to himself As being Quot i this always and forever Means god is. If he is then his word is. John 1 1 Quot in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god still is and his word still is. The life and Power of the word Are still vitally Active. Therefore god can say Quot he sent his word and healed them Quot psalm 107 20, because the Power is in his word to cause Healing to come to pass. Healing begins in the spirit this is Why medical science has so much trouble. All they can do is try to Patch up the body never affecting the persons spirit. Proverbs 18 14 says the spirit of a Man will sustain his infirmity. True lasting Healing has to Start inside a person then it moves on through to the outside. John realized that when he wrote Quot beloved i Pray that you May Prosper in All things and be in health just As your soul prospers Quot 3 John 2. We must have a healthy soul to have a healthy body. The word of god which is spirit and life ministers to us from the inside out. It becomes health and Medicine to our bodies because it is alive energized and full of the Power it takes to cause itself to come to pass. The word of god concerning Healing is full of the Power it takes to bring Healing. It is Faith in gods word not doubt that brings gods word into our spirit and our body. A Man told of his receiving Healing from cancer because of the Power of the word of god. He knew Little scripture at the time but during his illness he recalled the phrase Quot by his stripes you were he knew it was from the Bible i Peter 2 24 but did no to know where. This gentlemen applied the Power in gods living word to his body. He believed those words and spoke those words himself. Notice two things he i believed and then he 2 spoke. That is How we can activate the life and Power which is in the word of god. He chose not to believe what the doctors and medical science said that he was dying but rather he chose to believe what god has said. What happened Over a period of time the living word of god penetrated his body and destroyed the cancer which had attacked him. God desires that his people dedicated themselves to his word walk in it and watch the energizing operation of god begin to work in their own life. God looks to and fro across the Earth to find people who will follow him from their heart so he can pour out his blessings upon them. It must be done his Way. According to his word. In i Peter 1 23 it tells us we were born again by the seed of gods word which lives and abides forever. Plant that life in your heart. Speak that life through your lips and watch that life come to pass. Quot therefore i say to you whatever things you ask for when you Pray believe that you receive them and you shall have Mark 11 24.
