Decker the chronicle the Bothell Man charged with first degree manslaughter in connection with mondays shooting death near Cinebar was released from jail thursday after judge Richard l. Brosey reduced his bail to $50,000 Cash or Bond. Samuel Glen Douglas 39, was in Lewis county Superior court thursday morning. He is currently represented by court appointed attorney . Enbody. Douglas is scheduled to appear in court again at 10 25 . Next thursday to enter a plea. The court will review then whether he is qualified for a court appointed attorney according to Lewis county prosecutor Jeremy Randolph. Douglas faces a possible penalty of life in Anson and a $50,000 Fine if he a found guilty of the charge. John Thomas Mcmahon. 39, the caretaker of Douglas weekend Home in the too Block of Thompson Road died from a Shotgun blast to the Abdomen at about 12 55 . Monday according to Lewis county Coroner Terry Wilson. The coroners office believed Mcmahon was from the East coast. Randolph states in charging papers that Douglas shot Mcmahon with a 12-gauge Shotgun at the Cinebar residence during a verbal dispute. According to the charging papers. Douglas told Lewis county sheriffs deputies he first grabbed the Shotgun then turned to put it Back but Mcmahon charged at him and when Douglas turned toward Mcmahon the Shotgun discharged. According to the charging papers which Are based on information from the sheriffs office report Douglas stated he was not in fear for his life and indicated that if he had put the Shotgun Down All that would have happened is the two men might have gotten into a fist fight. The second grievance challenges layoffs of tooling workers in Kent and of electricians maintenance mechanics carpenters and others the Union says were replaced by contract employees.
