As the election occurs so far As time is concerned on the Divide or water shed Between the Rainy and dry seasons that fact ought to emphasize the need of in adequate water Supply during the coming season. It will not do to allow this summer to pass without supplying fire Protection and pure water for the City. Probably the Only Way so secure these is to elect a Council pledged to the erection of some certain system of water works. If fire Protection is not provided nothing is More certain than that most of the responsible fire insurance companies will withdraw from Centralia notwithstanding the ruinous rates of insurance now charged.
