Kimball said the company i believed the rocket could be put into a Moon orbit in a fairly Short time. Details of the projectile will be published i1 today in aviation week Raaga Zine. The rocket with a payload of from 23 to 35 pounds would Cost about including development and testing Kimball said. The rocket will be powered by Aero Jet s senior rockets developed for the Navy s Polaris missile. It will use a guidance system with an infrared scan Ner which will control the two final rockets. The first rocket is a Retro rocket for slowing the pro Mectile named the Aero Bee m when it approaches the Moon s orbit. The second is a steering rocket which remains with the nose payload of instruments and transmitter. The two final rockets Are in addition to the five launch new Leader i.
