The town of be Tehjui has 170 voters and a Dubois club of 147 members. Superintendent pores Man of the state Public schools spent saturday in Blackfoot. The vote of Bingham county will be from 300 to 500 larger than in 1894. Eight citizens of Gray a Lake came Over first of the week and made filings in the land office. Bryan is already elected in Idaho but the state and county tickets must be looked after with earnestness until the evening of the third of november. Look Over your county tickets and select the Best men for office. Bryan is sure of Victory in Idaho. Let the county have its Best men. Messes. Hillard and Dobson Are repainting the court House. Their Job consists in painting the roof outside Wood work and Calci mining the court room and hallways. Good county commissioners do much toward making Good times in the county then let us elect the Best men on our tickets. Hurrah for the wheat Market. Commissioners meet proceedings at the regular october term 1896 the Board of county commissioners met on october 12th, 1896, in regular session. C. W. Berryman chairman w. D. Sticks it al., for a county Road the viewers report in the above entitled matter coming on and it appearing from said report that there Are non consenting land owners Over whose lands said proposed Road will pass it is ordered that said viewers report will be heard by Board january 12th, 1897, and said land owners be notified of such hearing. In the matter of the petition to Divide school District no. 10 on this Day the petition herein came on for hearing and it appearing to the Board that All the requirements of the Law have been complied with and that a division of said District is necessary it is ordered that a new school District be and the same is hereby created and bounded and described As follows beginning at a Point on East Bank of Snake River where the base line intersects with said River thence up East Bank of Snake River with the Meran Ders thereof to the Section line Between Section 15 and 16, in township i North Range 37 East thence South on Section line to a Point on the Center of the East line of Section 21 of said township thence East one half mile to Center of Section 22, same township thence South one Liaf mile to Section line thence East one half mile to Northwest Corner Section 27, same township thence South 3 Miles to Southeast Corner Section 2, township 1 South Range 37 East thence West 2 Miles to Southwest Corner Section 3, same township thence North 1 mile to base line thence West to Snake River place of beginning. And it is ordered that All that portion of old District 10, not Hereinbefore described shall constitute school District no. 10. This Day the sum of $20 is hereby appropriated for the repair of the Road leading from Taylor to Wolverine Creek the said repairs to be made under the direction of the Road overseer of District no. 6. The bids on file for painting the court House were on this Day opened and the matter of awarding contract Laid Over for further hearing. In the matter of constructing Bridges Over Idaho canal it appearing to the Board that the Idaho canal company has failed to construct suitable Bridges across its canal Over the Public highways in Road District no. 6, the Road overseer of said District is hereby directed to notify said canal company to construct such Bridges and upon the failure of said company to so construct lawful Bridges As provided in Section 969 revised statutes of Idaho at the expense of said company. In the matter of enlarging school District no. 2 the petition in this matter coming regularly on to be heard and it appearing to the Board that due and Legal notice had heretofore been Given to each of the trustees of districts nos. 2, 20 and 28, by registered mail and also that notices were posted in each of said districts As provided by Law said District being the Only ones affected and said petition having been heretofore transmitted to this Board by the superintendent with his approval he having noted such changes As to make the boundaries As hereinafter described and the Board of trustees of District no. 20 being present and consenting to the boundaries and Isaac Ericson the owner of the Northwest Quarter of Section no. 30, township 2 South Range 34 East being present and consenting that said tract be added to and included in District no. 2 and it further appearing to the Board that All of the signers of said petition Are resident Heads of families of the tract sought to be added to said District no. 2, and Aie More than two thirds of the resident Heads of the families of the territory embraced within said tract and that the reasons stated in said petition Are Good and sufficient it is ordered that there be and hereby is added to District no. 2, the tract of territory As follows commencing at the Southeast Corner of township 2 South Range 34 East thence North to the Northeast Corner swy Section 36, of said township and Range thence West to the Center of said Section 36 thence North to Northeast Corner of twi of Section 36 thence West to Northwest Corner of twi of Section 36 thence South to Southwest Corner of twi Section 36 thence West to Center of Section 34 thence South to South line of said township 2 South Range 34 East thence East to place of beginning.
