for More Money even though no settlement is in sight the firefighters Union executive Council was to meet tuesday but sources said chances were slight they would accept the governments offer of a 10 percent pay increase and go Back to work the firefighters who make a Basic wage of a week want a 30 percent increase it took a lot to get the firemen to take their historic decision to strike David Chaloner of the fire brigades Union executive Council said but now they Are out they Are certainly not going Back for a 10 percent increase London firefighter Jim Rollinson said he originally voted against the strike but was now resigned to spending Christmas on the picket line in making a Hobby horse out of Wood for one of my sons and a soldiers uniform for the other Rollinson said he said his fire stations annual Christmas dance had been cancelled weve lost too much Money now after three weeks on strike and we will not go Back to work with our tails Between our legs Rollin son said
