Michigan convention opens fire could bring civil War in National party by Ken Siner Lansing a Michigan s democratic convention was expected to ask today that a Mississippi delegation including negroes be seated at the party s National convention instead of the traditional democratic party of the state resolutions commit tee headed by Detroit negro Alphonso Harper approved a Resolution Early today calling the traditional Mississippi party undemocratic ally constituted in that it discriminates against Large numbers of citizens. It does not support the plat form and policies of the National democratic party arid often asserts that it is riot a part of the democratic said the Resolution unanimously passed on a voice vote in the open com Mittee meeting.
