Anderson said that those firemen who recently submitted their resignations Are Lan Ney Lovell Eddie Roberson and Wayne Hawkins. He pointed out that two of the men had several years of experience. Lovell had been with the department for six years and Roberson for five years. Anderson also explained that the department is actually operating with four fewer employees due the death of Robert Flory another fireman who was killed recently in an automobile Accident. Flory had been with the department for eight years. Anderson said that some of the men Are taking their vacations now also and that presently Only two men Are operating the Woodall station truck where usually there Are four he said that because of the City a current financial crisis replacements for the men will not be hired.
