requesting she obliged the stranger and the two sat conversing for a while by the the old woman made known that she was in debt and owed a Large sum of Money to almost everyone the sheriff was soon going to come and take her off to debtors before the Man left that he gave enough to the woman to pay off All of her Tjit very the sheriff came out to the old woman happily she paid him All the Money and the sheriff heading Back to Bedford on his the sheriff was surprised when a Man jumped out of the Brush with a gun in his he introduced himself As Davy Lewis and took his Money Back from the ran and stashed it Back in an old Cave on the other Side of the Hill by Nagels this is just one of Many of the stories handed Down through the years concerning the antics of the local legendary Davy
