This has been done in such close keeping with the older portion that the general Appelt Ranee of the House has not been materially changed. On the inside however it was necessary to rearrange some 30 feet of the main House and petitions were removed and the rooms reconstructed. The Kitchen has been enlarged to 16x18 feet new closets built and a Cook s pantry 8xro feet added. The Butker s pantry has been almost entirely refurnished new shelves built enclosed in Glass and other improvements made. The extreme Northern portion of the House is intended for a servants dining room and it is 15x17 feet with windows on both sides and end. These Are directly Over the servants dining room and Are each 11x13 a t i size with windows on the Side and end. The rooms Are very Light and cheerful. In the basement the most important improvement has been the building of a new laundry room. This room is i7x2< feet High studded Well lighted and and Miray adapted for the purpose for which it is intended. Doors open oat to the grounds so there Are no Steps to climb. The finishing of the House is of the Best and new hard Pine floors have been Laid wherever it was necessary. The alterations and new construction of mrs.
