In making the investigation committee members doubtless acquired As much or More practical knowledge than they could have received from regular class work in the same period. In a report As comprehensive As this one it is to be expected that nobody will agree with the recommendations in Toto. Some of them Are obviously Good some Are obviously bad and some Are simply indifferent. As a whole however the report is based on sound economic and business principles and the recommendations Merit the serious consideration of the Coop Board of directors. Especially is this True in regard to such recommendations As department ligation of the Coop inauguration of More adequate accounting methods a better organized purchasing department designed to take advantage of Cash discounts and a return to the rebate system of profit sharing.
