aay, ou tneir way to at. juouis, to auena me contention of the Western Associated Press.Dismissed and Rearrested.An alleged professional thief named Charles Bally, aliat John Kruse, was recently arrested by Detectives Uazen and Mitchell, charged with the©urglary of A. W. Frank’s grooery store, oorner of Bixth and Race streets. He was to have been examined on this in the Polioe Court yesterday, but Detective Clint. Butts appeared at the Chief’s office and requested possession of him on account of the burglary of Nepper’s olothing store in Covington, oommitted about two weeks since. The evidence against him in the first case not being itrong, and that in the other being positive, over a hundred dollars’ worth of the stolen clothing having been traced to his possession, he was discharged and handed over to Detective Butts, as acandidate for Frankfort.
