i/« riidj f lucai’u uithe peace*. fined $5; Thomas Brown, disorderlyconduct, fined *4 60.Yesterday morning, the hardware store of Wright Smith, on Madison street, between Sixth and 'Pike, was opened at the usual hour by one of the clerks, when it was discovered that burglars had been In the establishment and carried oft several packages of pocket knives. Information of the affair was immediately given to Detective Clint. Butts, and in less than an hour he had recovered nearly all the stolen property, and lodged the supposed perpetrators of the robbery in jail. They proved to be boys, and gave their names as Daniel Finnegan, Jacob Simmons, Charles Woods, Samuel Woods, .William Booth, and John Withers. It seems, from the statement of one of the lads, that they entered thestore on Sunday, by forcing open a door In the back part of the building. They will undergoan examination before Esquire Francis thismorning.
