They are Samnel Perry and raylor Evans, who hare had charge of the ‘xodus from North Carolina. They bare ound homes In Indiana for 665 people so far, ird are promised homes for 500 more. Perrr has jnst returned F-om Indiana, and says that the farmers ibout Terre Haute want sixty families, and in Hockrille fifty families will be glren work at rood wages. They intend to canrass the state )f Indiana for places and hope to take 5,000 'olored people out there during the next six months. The greatest demand is for house kreacts, and Perrr said he could find places For 5,COO women if thsy were educated up to Lhe northern system of domestic economy.
