Clark, and a woman claiming to be his wife, on the charge of stealing two horses, one belonging to Mr. Joseph Clark, of Jamestown, and the other to Mr. James South gate, residing a few miles back of that place. Yesterday Detective Clint. Butts, of Covington, who knows all the thieves from Maine to California, visited the Newport Jail, and identified Clark as the individual who stole a horse lrom Colonel Ja*.Foy. of Covington, in I860, for which he was sent to the Kentucky Penitentiary for a term of four years.
