Sets course record 16 year old Mark Pelletier fired an eight under Par 64 Friday to qualify for one of two spots in the state pc Junior tourney at Arroyo Del Oso. Pelletier had nine birdies and Only one bogey. It was the lowest competitive round at the course breaking the record of 66 by pro Don Klein of Albuquerque. Sets Arroyo course record Pelletier shoots 64 a competitive course record of eight under Par 64 was fired by 16 year old Mark Pelletier to win his age division in the new Mexico professional golfers association Junior Golf tournament at Arroyo Del Oso Golf course Friday. Playing his Home course Young Pelletier had nines of 33-31 to crack the record by two shots and win by five shots Over current men s City Golf Champion Ray Cragun by five shots Steve Parrish posted a one Over 73 to win the 14-1s age group. Mike tan Sam was second at 75. Brian Clark had to go 19 holes to win the 12-13 division Over Ken Frankfeld. The two tied the regulation round at 86 and Clark parred the first Hole of the sudden death play off. Chris Maestas won the girls division.
