The event will include food and games and will give kids the Chance to Bash the Pic Ata with wooden weapons representing the seven Virtues. The 16-foot, Star shaped Pic Ata with seven symbolic rays will be one of the highlights at the churches third annual fiesta in the Clouds a sacred heart feast Day Celebration scheduled for june 13. Sacred heart the Rev. Christopher Williams said breaking the Gigantic Pic Ata which has a diameter one foot larger than last years will give children in attendance the Chance to have fun and collect sweets while also learning about Church teachings. A the Pic Ata has traditionally been that there Are seven rays coming out of it to represent the seven deadly sins so this makes a moment of cat Chesis for people to help them learn about the seven deadly sins and the seven volunteers built each of the seven rays for the Pic Ata using cardboard styrofoam papier mache and colourful crepe paper. Sacred heart the Rev. Christopher Williams said the breaking of the giant Pic Ata creates a Quot moment of cat Chesis Quot in which kids can learn about Church teachings. Virtues a Williams said. He said volunteers began working on the Pic Ata last month building each of the rays from cardboard and styrofoam covered with papier a Che and colourful crepe paper. The weekend before the event Church members will mount the rays around a Wood and cardboard Core which will then be covered with More papier a Che and weather protected with cellophane. The event itself will began the next saturday with a Short procession through the Village followed by mass. Fiesta coordinator Lourdes Blette said the event will feature a do and Folkl Rico dancers a raffle for items donated by local businesses As Well As a cakewalk and other games. Enchiladas burgers and tacos will also be served during the fiesta. Williams said proceeds from the fiesta will help fund building projects at the Church. The kids will began bashing the Pic Ata june 13 at 3 30 .
