That is a battling secret. Always build up your Stock. To at to he of raged Forth again and finally returned with my clothes etc., at Tea to six. He was holding eight and nine Pence in Cadi Stock Worth just Over nine shillings wholesale and two bottles of me. Therefore we had easily enough of the base Metal to tide us Over until morning and enough Stock give each a flying Start on the Igor Woff not at Aila bad Day s work on Friend marts a part from such a dreary hopeless Early morning Outlook Eli it was frenzied finance in e Flat with a vengeance but that is the Way of a Battler. Both needed shaving badly Martley suggests a visit to the hairdressers College in Sussex Street., i agreed to go. Martley gives me a Penny say jag hat a Brown gets one preference Over penniless stiffs. The College is a remarkable institution. The principal thereof trains aspiring to sorial artists their profession in seven weeks for a certain fee. The students practise shaving hair cutting and Ziff trimming upon living models stiffs on the morning of our visit there were about a dozen stiffs waiting to be attended to. The same types that one meets at the night Refuge and salvation army Doss houses for the most part. Four students were practising upon As Many stiffs. Two of the latter were being shaved one old joker was having his Ziff trimmed whilst the remaining Deadbeat was having his Actoris locks attended to. I believe he Means what he says though just the same had Tea together. Martley has to meet his divinity Ella tonight. I went Home with the Stock. Our room rent is due to Morrow. Went to the Nash vaudeville to break the drab Monotony. Martley will say that s a Bob wasted it would have bought two pots to bed. Friend Martley there before in i can hear him. Young Stribling the Yankee College lad badly battered Mike Mctigue who was on the verge of being knocked out in the tenth round in a bout in new Jersey during the week. Some time ago Stribling got a decision Over Mctigue. Because of the Peculiar antics of the referee who gave the irishman the verdict first and then swayed by the crowd gave it to Stribling. However according to the cabled version there was no room for any twisting in this last bout. According to fight promoter Rickard Harry wills has signed up for a fight either in june or july with Firpo Rojas the Chili crack or Spall the italian who stayed 14 rounds recently with Firpo. If successful wills tackles Dempsey in september. So Many contradictory cables have lately arrived concerning matches alleged to have been fixed for wills and Firpo that when the two get into the ring will be time enough to believe that the pair have been matched.
