week Despite premium prices being paid for pickers who will remain on the job throughout the season growers report it increasingly difficult to j kiep men on the job j Yolo county growers report that they have good yields of j high quality hops this season and that while the prevailing ket is they anticipate an ad- market during the balance of the season Reports from Santa Rosa district are to the effect that the crop is so poor this season will be many vines where picking will not even be attempted Kenneth Lovdal was one of the growers in the Elkhorn district to start picking He is attempting
