the opera tion performed When the exam was made ami the operation performed the case was considered a hopeless one The patient rallied very little and that only for a short timo when ho began sinking and on Wednesday afternoon at about 4 oclock he peacefully breathed his last Mr Sager was born in Colmar Ger on November 7 1874 malting him about 38 of age He came to California in June find the family settled in Winters where they have resided he father having died here a few years after their ar rival On October 28 deceased was married to Miss Nettie Schneider and to them one son was born
