but generous donation With these re- sources the school will not seriously for lack of equipment the most gratifying thing about the situation is the unfaltering loyalty of the students and alumni Not one left on account of the fire and many have signified their intention to remain through the Bummer Not the least encouraging incident is the fact five students have enrolled since the fire three of them having more than 200 miles fcr dozens of letters are com- ing in daily in regard to the Summer Normal and Summer School In this connection it be said that our summer session will open lime 2 and continue until August 22 three This summer ter is equal in ail respects to any other quarter of the year and enables to complete in three summers the work of an entire lar term Likewise on June 2 the Summer Normal will open for the purpose of preparing teachers for the State's Summer Normal examinations on July and July Teachers may prepare for one or both of these examinations For housing these two schools the commodious public school building the beautiful and ble Randall County Court house and churches of Canyon will bj used A training school will bn supervised by experts and af fording
