athletes achievements DOGS CLIP CARDINALS by Tom Hartman The West Bend Bulldogs defeated the Treynor at Jefferson November in the first round of the state football Treynor got the first break of the game when a high short punt hit one of the Bulldog linemen and was recovered by the Treynor scored on the third play of the drive making the score The Dogs a 60yard drive The drive ended in a 3yard touchdown by Bruce Tim Lauck put the Bulldogs ahead to stay with a 17yard fumble recovery and runback for a Dave Drake booted both extra points making the score Treynor back to score on a quarterback Drake then blocked the extra point Ray Banwart scored the insurance touchdown in the fourth period but the kick was blocked making the final score Tom Hartman and Drake also had fumble recoveries with Drake adding an Scott John Banwart and Rick Bonnstetter spearheaded the defense with 9 tackles The victory over Treynor put the Bulldogs into the semi finals of the his 40yard run from Dave Drake
