shot and killed himself today A member of a prominent waukee family Donnelly was a former special assistant attorney general of Wisconsin Donnelly who was released der bond from county jail Tuesday on three charges of ting to kill fired one shotgun blast into his head Donnelly was arrested in a murder for profit plot involving two wealthy widows and an elderly calendar manufacturer Sheriff Pat Gordon said The attorney and a contractor were arrested and another person may be taken into custody the sheriff added Two more cases will be gated and there may be others he said The bizarre case broke here day with the fake abduction of one of the wealthy widows reportedly marked for death The sheriff said he staged it to break the case Arrested on charges of acy to murder for profit were
