Barnett  William C. Barnett, 75, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on Feb. 5,2011. Graveside services and interment will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 19, 2011, at Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury, Texas, with Deacon Blake Cabano officiating.  Bill was born on Jan. 23, 1935, in Waelder, Texas, to Alpha and Britice Westbrook Barnett. I (is wife of 58 years, Claudette Allen Barnett, preceded him in death, as did his  parents and brothers, lister Barnett, Chester Barnett and Ray Barnett, and sisters Mattie Edison and Ruby Lambert.  Survivors include a son. Roger Barnett; a daughter, Deana, and husband, Jerry Dickson; brother, A1 Barnett and life partner, Beatrice Yeats; six grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Memorial contributions may he made to the Hospice organization of one’s choice.  Harry Delaney Dougherty  Harry Delaney Dougherty, 45, passed away suddenly on Friday, Feb. 11,2011.  Harry is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 22 years, Stephanie Hanover Dougherty; their daughter, Haley; and son, Rihl. He is also survived by his mother, Josephine Dougherty; siblings, Pat Elbel and husband Jerry, Joan Gatliff and husband Gary, Deborah Dougherty-Warren and husband Keith; mother-in-law, Peggy Hanover; father-in-law, Bobby Hanover; sis-ters-in-law .Bobbie Gayle Hanover, and Robin Preusser and husband Jimmy; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Harry was bom in San Antonio, Texas, on April 15, 1965, and was raised in his hometown of New Braunfels. He and his family have called Dripping Springs home for more than 20 years.  Harry was a kind and generous man who loved life and helping others. An avid hunter and fisherman, Harry put nothing above God, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.  A rosary will he held on Monday, Feb. 14, at 5:30 p.m., followed by a memorial mass celebrating his life at 6 p.m. at St. Martin de Porres in I dipping Springs, Texas. In lieu of Bowers, donations can be made to his childrens college funds.  Tommy Myers  Sandra A. Myers is sad to report the death of her husband, Tommy Myers, who died on Feb. 3, 2011. He was born in Salisbury, N.C., on Feb. 1, 1934. Tommy lived in New Braunfels for the last six years.  He was 77 years old, and was retired for the past 16 years. An avid fisherman, he could be found in Rockport, on his Pathfinder boat with a fishing rod in his hand. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.  Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Sandra A. Myers, and sister, Nancy B. Koren, from Heathsville, Va., and children Sherri A. Reilly, David R.  Pedersen, Sheila A. Pedersen and Sandra G. Caraway. Grandchildren: Avery Gray, Cassie A. Reilly, Arden Gray, Clayton Reilly, Zaine and Cole (faraway, Chandley Saunders, and Crystal and Daryl Pedersen.  Tommy served in the military 1953-1956, graduated from High Point University in 1961, was a commercial pilot and had Fourem Products Co. in Jacksonville, Fla. In New Braunfels, he helped us in our businesses of Comfort Suites and Best Western Inn & Suites.  Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home is in charge of the cremation, and contributions may be made to American Heart Association.  SALUTE TO HOSPITALIZED VETERANS WEEK  When was the last time you thanked a veteran for his/her service?  The National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans Week will be Feb. 13-19, at all Veteran Affairs Medical Centers across the nation.  The San Antonio-area program will be Feb. 18, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at noon at the Audie L. Murphy Division of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System at the first-floor recreation hall.  Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Ladies Auxiliaries from District 5 will be participating and providing food and refreshments for the veterans and visitors. She was born Aug. 30,1937, in New Braunfels, Texas, to Chester and Ruby Walker. She grew up in New Braunfels, and was baptized at Live Oak Baptist Church.  She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Roosevelt and Janis M. Gipson; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Brandon M. and Lisa M. Harris of Lawton, Okla.; one grandson, Phillip A. Marks of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one great-granddaughter, Paris E. Marks of Columbia, S.C.; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Sarah  (Freeman) Walker of New Braunfels; nieces and nephews, Richard and Janice Bailey of Bettendorf, Iowa, Wayne and Karen Mackenzie of Sachse, Texas, and Robert Walker of Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous friends and relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Elizabeth J. Marks.  Services will be at Live Oak Baptist Church, 355 N. Washington, New Braunfels, on Tuesday Feb. 15, 2011, with Pastor Alive Young presiding. Viewing will be 9-10 a.m., with services beginning at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow at Comal Cemetery.  Arrangements: Sutton and Sutton of San Antonio.  Roberto V. Gomez  Roberto V. Gomez, born Dec. 18,1945, passed away at theageof65onFeb. 11,2011.  Roberto was raised by his loving parents the late Antonio and Andrea Gomez, in New Braunfels. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Louisa Ortiz Gomez; children: Jaime, Stephen and Graciela Gomez; his brother, Frank Gomez (Irene Torres); sisters: Olivia Ramirez, Petra (Refugio Sr.) Sosa, Margarita (Ati-lano) Aguero, Juanita (Salvador) Hernandez, Aurora (Rogelio-deceased) Torres;  and nine grandchildren.  Roberto was preceded in death by his brothers, Anasta-cio and Cipriano Gomez, and sister Elisa Siller.  Visitation will be on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, from 1-8 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels.
