resident of the Kirkwood Manor Nursing Home and had lived in New Braunfels many She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church she sang in the choir and was a member of the Womens Society of Christian which later became the United Methodist She began her career as a teacher and was director of the kindergarten at the United Methodist Church for many She loved to quilt and Her grandchildren all had sweaters that she knit for Verona Weisser was married to Raymond Fischer on June in New and after raising their family and celebrating many years of Ray mond passed away on Verona worked as an abstractor for the Comal County Title Company and spent her time in retirement enjoying her In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by one Bar bara Ann and one sis Frances She is survived by three daughters Mary Dripping Nan cy New Jer sey and Linda Franke and husband Canyon one son Raymond John Fischer and wife New She is also survived by 11 grandchil dren Ray and Art Julie and Jason Heather Jennifer Dylan Fischer and Leslie eight great one sister Ruth and one Ernst James A visitation will be held at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home on April from 5 to 9 The
