person in effect for the citys rivers By Suzanne Ashe Staff Writer Tubers who frequent the Comal and Guadalupe rivers within the New Braunfels city limits can pack their 16quart coolers and float the rivers with two tubes after Wednesday nights special council The New Braunfels City Council voted on three river ordinances that were tabled at the 26 At that the council recessed without making a deci sion on proposed ordinances on cooler and tube sizes and the number of tubes that floaters can take on the Comal and Guadalupe The council reconsidered the ordinance Wednesday that would allow only sixcan coolers on the Comal River and 12can coolers on the Guadalupe District 4 Councilman Pat Wig who originally voted for the said he put the item on Wednesdays agenda because he wanted to see if the council could come up with a compro The final decision by the coun cil is to allow a maximum size 16 quart cooler that will hold 20 12 ounce cans on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers within the city The council passed the ordi nance with a vote of Mayor Pro Tem Sonia MunozGill and District 3 Councilwoman Gale Pospisil voted against the ordi See Page 9A The following is a list of the exist
