coolers at the New Braunfels City Council meeting Monday After the council heard from more than two dozen the council voted 43 to regulate the size of coolers that could be used on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers inside the city The council also voted 52 Mon day to ban open containers in Hin man Island and Prince Solms Before the cooler District 6 Dozens address council most urge council not to adopt cooler rules Councilman Ken Valentine made a motion to amend the ordinance to change the size of the small coolers I make motion to approve me ordinance with adjustments to amend and change dimensions of the sixcan cooler to 8x 6x 7 inches for the Comal River and change the dimension on the Guadalupe to 11x 8x7 inch Valentine That further reduced the cooler size from the original dimensions 9x 6x 9inches for the Comal and 11x 9x 10inches for the Guadalupe passed three weeks ago when the cooler ordinance first went before the Valentine said he had heard that the original sixcan
