GONZALES Elena R Gonzales of New Braunfels has gone to be with the Lord on December IO, 2005. Elena (Nena) was bom on October 27,1954. Ste is the daughter of Juan R. Gonzales and was preceded in death by her mother Luz R Gonzales. She is survived by five brothers Mr. and Mrs. John Gonzales, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gonzales of Shulenburg, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Texas, Daniel Gonzales and Henry Gonzales; TWo sisters Estella Castilleja and Angela Martinez all from New Braunfels Texas. She is also survived my numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and many friends. Her favorite pastime was playing Bingo. Elena will always be remembered by those whose hearts she touched, especially her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She will always be in our hearts. The viewing will be Tuesday December 13,2005 from 2 PM until 5 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home with a rosary at 3 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 8 AM and continue until the funeral procession departs Zoeller Funeral Home at 9:30 AM for a IO AM Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial to follow in Comal Cemetery. COLLIER, JR Wendell H. Collier, Jr. of Spring Branch passed away Saturday December IO, 2005 at McKenna Memorial Hospital at the age of 37. Wendell was bom September IO, 1968 to Wendell H. Collier, Sr. and Marilyn Ricketts Collier in Tampa, FI. He married Laura Ann Morris on May 2, 1996 in Tampa, FL Wendell was known for his Christian witness and his love for family and friends. He was a Youth Combat Officer in the Society for Creative Anachronism which is a Middle Ages living history group. He is survived by his wife, Laura A. Collier of Spring Branch, TX; daughters, Jalane Collier and Angela Collier; son, Logan Collier; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Orrie; step-son, Jonathon Orrie; parents, Wendell Sr. and Marilyn of Tampa, FL; brother, Chris Collier of Dalton, GA; nephew, Chris Collier; niece, Greta Collier; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Public visitation will begin 6:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and will continue until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at the Doeppen-schmidt Funeral Home at Canyon Lake.
