building a set of signs officials hope will make it easier to get emergency help to boaters in Commissioners recently voted unanimously to accept a numbering system for the countys eight boat ramps at Canyon Lake and to create new direction signs to the ramps that incorporate their existing names and the new The numbers would sup plement the local place names of the ramps and be visible both from parking areas and the lake so that boaters from out of town have a ready reference to guide emergency help when mak ing 911 calls and so motorists can more easily find the The issue was raised one
