National Bank now Wells Pete was active in many civic and professional organi A lifelong he served the church in every way he was asked from Sun day School teacher to usher to Finance Committee Chair to Lay He was a mem ber of the Masonic lodge for more than 50 Pete was a proud Rotarian past president of 2 clubs and a past District Governor of Rotary Interna He maintained over 43 years of perfect attendance at meetings and was a Paul Har ris He was Past President of Texas State Teachers Associa tion District 13 and Past Pres ident of the Texas Association of School He received the Silver Unicorn Award for service to the stu dents of New Braunfels ISD and was a life member of the Pete was a long time mem ber of the Wurstfest Associa was elected President of the group and also Grosse He was a life Member of the New Braunfels Cham ber of Commerce and served as a board member and pres ident of the New Braunfels Hope While he had many profes sional accomplishments and community Pete was proudest of his family his 62 years of marriage to Marion and their four pro and opinionated daughters with families of their He had some of the qual ities that the best fathers pos sess selective a
