She was born on June 15, 1949 in New Braunfels to Monroe Henk and Mary Fiebrich I lenk. For many years Loretta worked as a telephone operator at McKenna Memorial Hospital and recently worked at Checks In The Mail. Loretta is survived by her father, Monroe Henk of New Braunfels; brother, Chester Henk and wife Barbara of New Braunfels; sisters, Claudia Zunker and husband Wilburn of Alpine, Texas, Kathy I lanover and husband Walter of San Antonio and Pauline Doege and husband James of New Braunfels; brother-in-law, Robert Altwein of New Braunfels; special friend and cousin, FRANCES KERSHBERGER Arrangements are pending at Zoeller- Funeral Home for Frances Kershberger of San Antonio. She passed away on Sunday December 21, 2003 Joan Hanz; numerous nieces and nephews; service dog, Chief as well as her entire church family at Fellowship Bible Church. Loretta was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Henk on June 7, 2002 and by her sister, Phyllis Altwein. At Loretta,s request, her body will be donated to science. A memorial service will be held in honor of Loretta on Friday, December 26,2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Bible Church in New Braunfels with Pastor Dennis Biddison officiating. A rosary will be recited following the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels. Memorial donations may be given to Fellowship Bible Church.
