ROGERS/Herald-Zeitung Pam Shelton invites everyone to come to Westside Community Center Nov. 27 for a Thanksgiving dinner. A feast worth donating to Ruth and Frank Chappa and Pam Shelton have donated goods to the Westside Community Center's annual Thanksgiving Feast. The Chappas donated a turkey and money for the second year. Shelton, of the Carriage Haus Coffee Shop, donated all the gourmet coffee for the feast, which is slated for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 27 at the center, 29321-35. The event is open to the entire community. Organizers still need donations to help feed this year’s 2,000 person goal. Forty turkeys, several cans of green-beans and pies and cakes are still needed. Ground beef, potatoes, cranberry sauce and dinnerware are also needed. Monetary contributions are welcomed, and volunteers will be needed the day of the event.
