Alex Butch Ott passed away oft Sunday October at the age of 62 Butch was born in New Btaunfels Texas on June 7f 1941 to Alex Anton and Florentina Hutder Ott Butch is survived by his wife DeAnn of 39 years and 3 children Dionne Danielle and Bryan 2 soninlaws Tony Garceau Jeff Robinson and daughterinlaw Dallas Ott He has 4 beautiful grand children Skylar and Sierra Robinson Bradley Ott and Abigail Garceau who were his pride and joy His sisters are Melrose Ott and Peggy Friesenhahn who preceded him in death He has many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Chelsea He graduated from New Braunfels Pligh School in 1959 and attended Blinn Col lege In 1964 he graduated from Oregon Tech Institute in Klamath Falls Oregon where he also met and mar ried DeAnn He moved his family back to New Braun fels where he took over his fathers business Ott Plumb ing Co He retired from the family business in Janu ary of 2003 His son Bryan is now following in his foot steps for the third genera tion Butch belonged to the Noon Lions Club and Knights of Columbus He loved to play golf fish travel and spend time with his fam ily He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh But most of all he loved to He earned his pri vate pilots license and loved to fly He also enjoyed wood working and loved to make things for his family His never ending humor laughter and wisdom were passed on to all who knew him and will never be for gotten Visitation will begin at 12 noon Tuesday and continue until Wednesday at the Zoeller Funeral Home A rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening at 7 at the Zoeller Funeral Home The funeral mass will be cel ebrated on Wednesday Oct at 10 at the Sts Peter and paul Catholic Church Entombment will follow in the Sts Peter and Paul Mausoleum The family has requested
