Texas if they inten tionally distribute or display obscene materials without regard to whether a person might be offended or alarmed by the display or distribution House Bill 235 enhances this section of the Pettal Code to make it a state jail felony to display or distribute obscene materials to a child under the age of 18 For those who seek to wholesale obscene materials or promote materials that include children under 18 the punishment will increase from a state jail felony to a third degree felony And those who promote those materials could soon be hit with a state jail felony instead of a
