prior he discovered a white male going through the shed The subject left the scene in an early 80s model blue Chevrolet pickup truck with a camper shell Comal County Sheriffs investigators are working 20012002 Academic Excellence Indicator System report Tuesday at the regular board meeting beginning at 7 The purpose of the public report is to discuss the perfor mance of students at each school in the district New Braunfels ISD and five individual campuses received recognized status in the annual ratings of the Acade mic Excellence Indicator Sys tem released August 2002 by the Texas Education Agency The AEIS report includes the following performance indicators TAAS passing rate by grade by subject and by all grades tested Endofcourse examina tion passing rate Attendance rate for the full year Dropout rate by year High school completion rate Percent of high school stu dents completing an advanced course Percent of graduates com pleting the Recommended High School Program Placement and International Baccalaureate examination results equivalency rate and SAT and ACT examina tion participation and results Performance on all indica tors is shown disaggregated by ethnicity special education and low income status The report also provides information on school and dis trict staff finances programs and demographics NBISD reported overall reading performance on TAAS at all grade levels at 90 per cent mastery except for sixth grade which performed at upper 80 percent mastery NBISD reported overall math performance on TAAS at all grade levels at 90 per cent mastery except for third grade which earned an 89 per cent mastery level Tenth grade overall math perfor mance was above the state average NBISD reported overall writing performance on TAAS at all grade levels at 90 per
