the table chairs furniture television and videocassette recorders Detectives are investigat mg the theft which Cfccttrred between Tuesday and Dec 7 2002 taken A resident of the 100 block of Lakeview Boulevard reported a digi tal camera and accessories worth taken sometime on Jan 2 or Jan 3 The camera was stored in a laundry room cabinet HUfelder stolen A welder and other tools worth were taken in a burglary at the Canyon High School construction site this past weekend Whoever stole the equip ment caused an additional in damage accord ing to police Purse taken A New Braunfels High School student reported her purse was taken Tuesday The theft occurred on a school parking lot No sign of forced entry to her vehicle was seen Value of the purse and contents was Ntoy booked An 11yearold New Braunfels boy was charged with class C misdemeanor theft Saturday allegedly tors cards The theft occurred at Heroes and Fantasies located in the 1000 block of Interstate 35 North at noon The youth was booked and released to his stepfather The case will be referred to juvenile authori ties stolen A skateboard worth was reported taken Monday A New Braunfels Police Department spokesman said a resident of the 1900 block of Tiara Drive report ed that a boys skateboard was taken off the front porch of the home late on New Years Eve or early Jan 1 Koins tools taken A resident of the 100 block of Ruekle nominate a farmer for the Edwards Aquifer Author itys annual award honoring environmental awareness The water agency is searching for the next recip ient of the fifth annual Odie Gilliam Agricultural Conservation Award which recognizes the farmer with the most efficient use of groundwater conservation Both conservation prac tices and technology are cri teria in selecting the winner The winner will receive an engraved plaque recognizing the achievement plus a prize All nominees must irrigate within the aquifer authori tys region with any conser vation measures they have taken since 1996 are near Houston This area is so Davison who started her new job as the citys Community Development Block Grant director in early December said The duties of the CDBG director include maintaining cordial relations with city staff and the public and working with agencies to develop fund ing applications Davison is charged with preparing required publica tions and coordinating all pub lic hearings necessary to meet federal and local citizen par ticipation requirements for the CDBG program She also meets with the citys Community Develop ment Advisory Committee and communicates the availability of programs through media outlets and other means of dis seminating information Previously Davison served as a redevelopment project manager in Oxnard where she was responsible for business revitalization pro jects including blighted mall and downtown business areas Davison also has served as budget analyst for Napa Coun ty and as redevelop ment manager for the cities of Corona Fontana
