JROTC Silent Drill Team tryouts for male and female cadets for the 2000-2001 Silent Drill Team will be 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Loop 337. Freshmen registration is 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday. Sophomore registration is 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Late registration is 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 15. ■ All students attending New Braunfels Middle School in the fall were to pick up registration packets at the school at 659 S. Guenther on Friday. Registration will begin for middle school students this week. Seventh grade registration is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Eighth grade registration is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday. ■ All students attending OakRun Sixth Grade Center in the fall can pick up registration packets at the school, 415 Timber Hollow, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Registration will be only one day from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday. ■ New students to the New Braunfels Independent School District in grades Pre-K through fifth grade will register from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at all elementary campuses. ■ Students at Smithson Valley High School will register this week with seniors on Monday, juniors on Tuesday, sophomores on Wednesday and freshmen on Thursday. Registration will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Friday will be a catch-all registration day. “Fish Camp” will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday.
