Department nurse Shel McWilliams said Dr Dorothy Overman city and county medical officer sent the notices last Wednesday It has been going on since the middle of McWilliams said There have been 10 cases we have heard The cases have involved both children and adults she u McWillidms said five of the cases were children from the same day care center She refused to identify the day care center affected citing confidentiality The number of hepatitis A cases are rare for Comal County 1 would not call this an epidemic but an she said McWilliams said Overmans order applied to all schools and day cares within the county The order issued by Overman urges no sharing of foods or drinks between children whether the food is brought to the school or day care or cornes from a cafeteria or vending
