Gonzales 93 of New Braunfels passed away Oct 15 1997 at Baylor Medical Center Mr Gonzales was born April 22 1904 in San Miguel Allende Mexico to Silverio Gonzales and Marina V a s q u e z Gonzales A lifetime resident of New Braunfels he was retired and a former electrician with Servtex Materials Co He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church He was preceded in death by his parents a sister Florentina Amaro and brothers Benito and Abundio Gonzales Survivors include a niece Carlota Garza of New Braunfels great nieces and great nephews Diana and David Estrada of New Braunfels Marcelino Garza Jr and Ruth Garza of San Antonio Susan and Joe Sanchez of Irving Nanci and Eddie Longoria of New Braunfels Marina and Orlando Villarreal of Garland Esther and Mike Mendoza of New Braunfels and Roger and Inez Estrada of Round Rock and numerous nieces and nephews A rosary will be recited at Friday evening at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Services will be at 10 Saturday Oct 18 1997 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with Father Richard Oberstar officiating Pallbearers will be Roger Estrada III David Estrada Joe Sanchez Eddie Longoria Orlando Villarreal Mike Mendoza Honorary pallbearers will be his great nieces and nephews Morales Funeral Home JOHNNY EARL GRAY Johnny Earl Gray pased away on Wednesday Oct 15 1997 in New Braunfels at the age of 50 years Mr Gray was a Army veteran who served two tours of duty in Vietnam worked 15 years with the Secret Service preciously worked in San Marcos for Rohl and presently worked at Motorola in Seguin where he was a production associate 5 He was a typical tourist who visited New Braunfels and fell in love with the community moved here He is survived by his wife Karin Gray of New Braunfels IW jnW JMftjL Vv one Mary Belle Perkins Jan 8 1949 in Edinburg He lived in New Braunfels for 12 years and formerly was a resident of Seguin for 15 years He worked as a sales representative for Cement Company He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in New Braunfels the Masonic Lodge No 1135 in Donna Texas Alamo As Club Southern Texas V8 Club New Braunfels Car Club and Scottish Rite Bodies He is survived by his wife Mary Belle Gernentz of New Braunfels two daughters Deborah Butler and husband Johnny of Lago Vista Texas and Dcnise Tennison and husband Steve of Coppell Texas four grandchildren Shannon and Korean War Francis first love was politics He was the of the Houston Gulf Coast Building Trades Council He was a member and past officer of the Pipefitters Local Union 211 where he was an instructor in the Apprentice School for 13 years He holds a lifetime membership in the Masonic Lodge No 1155 and was a Charter member in the Archives Lodge No 1399 United Association of Journeymen and Apprentice
