Summer computer camp begins in June New Braunfcls ISO will offer a computer camp during June for NBISD students currently enrolled in grades 25 or grades 68 Students may register for one two three or four weeks of classes Registration information is avail able at each school that serves stu dents in grades 28 The eost per week is must preregistcr and prepay by Fri day May 23 Payment must be made by check payable to NBISD Pay ment and the completed registration form must be turned in at the students campus office Classes run Monday through Fri day from 8 Students in grades 25 will be at Memorial El ementary School and students in grades 68 will meet at New Braunfels Middle School in the Fine Arts wing off Butcher Students will work on Macintosh computers and have theopportunity to be trained in the use of word pro cessing spread sheet database and multimedia software Call the Office of Special Pro grams at 6206200 for more informa tion OakRun to be closed Friday May 30 OakRun School at 415 Timber Hollow will be closed for repairs on Friday May 30 The electricity to the building will be cut off for the day Although telephones for the build ing are expected to be working other features such as air conditioning and lights will be off For that reason Principal Mike Fitsko does not re quire staff members to be available at the school that day Parents wishing to talk with be hard pressed to outwit Seele Elementary fourth grader Jordan Jacks He recently excelled in Deltas WorMAclventure Chal lenge with Carmen San Diego and has a shot of being named the international grand prize u inner As one of only 10 World Champions he could win the drawing for the grand prize at Space Camp in Huntsville Alabama on July 2427 He advanced to world by being one of 38 national winners As a world champion he won the space camp adven ture a savings bond a Space Camp Scholarship and a CD radio cassette recorder For his teacher he won her a space adventure weekend a savings bond and an electronic personal organizer As a national winner he won a savings bond a portable cassette radio player and a gift pack His teacher earned a classroom world map The grand prize winnertakcs home roundtripeconomy class tickets for four to any one of the cities Delta serves around the world from the Delta city nearest the winners home Other prizes include worth of cassettes or
