place at Landa Park Running races will be held on both days at two oclock and an exhibit of flowers and plants is to be shown at the Landa Park pavilion near the Comal Springs A concert and other entertainment is planned for each afternoon A friendly welcome to all guests from near and far is extended by the Comal County Fair Association A carload of water pipes has arrived at Louis Henne and Week from Monday to March 30 The department is funding improvements to Jesse Garcia Park where a groundbreaking ceremony and picnic will be held from 3 to 6 Saturday Jesse Garcia was a legendary coach who worked with the Little League Mission Valley Team and Babe Ruth Baseball He held fundraisers for boys who could not afford to attend and was involved with Boy Scouts for 25 years winning many awards Jesse and his wife Lucille were very active in area PTAs and he received the Silver Unicorn award from NBISD District Attorney Dib Waldrip was a youngster was touched by Jesse Garcia He and
