ANTONIO AP A federal grand jury has subpoenaed a close friend of departing Housing Secretary Henry Cisneros in its ongoing investigation into financial help given to Cisneros former mistress according to a published report The San Antonio ExpressNews reported that the Washington grand jury issued the Brigman subpoena for Frank Wing a former San Antonio City Council member and a close Cisncros political ally Investigators want to ask Wing what he knows about money and job help given to Linda Medlar by San Antonio financier Morris D Jaffc and son Morris D Doug Jaffc unidentified sources told the newspaper for a story in its Sunday editions A spokesman for special counsel David M Barrett who is handling the Cisneros case declined comment on any aspect of the investigation or grand jury
