enlisted woman says her battle to see the military man who had sex with her underage daughter punished turned into a fight against harassment and indifference from Army officials The case involves her 14yearold daughter a 30yearold staff sergeant who admitted he had sex with the underage girl and a military system at Fort Hood that she says victimized her Staff Sgt Barbara McCorkle mother of the victim and a military policewoman assigned to the 4th Infantry Division said she was called vindictive and a liar by Army officials A public affairs spokesman for the Army at Fort Hood said Wednesday that the military is very concerned about the case and said he is making every attempt to examine learn from and resolve the issue The illicit sexual liaison occurred on March in a Killeen motel and
